Polaroid’s Big Shot 50 is a booklet intended to be distributed at PolaCon 2023. 2023 marks the 50 year discontinuation of Polaroid’s iconic Big Shot camera, memorable for its unique design and made famous by Andy Warhol. With film for this camera no longer being produced in a sustainable quantity, this booklet hopes to capture the magic and memory of this camera within its pages for generations to come. The design of the booklet is informed by iconic images created using the camera, as well as original images and quotes from the manual of the Big Shot. Added in are some personal images that have been created using the Big Shot and expired film.
